I too am lamenting the "too-soon change in seasons"...also dreading the arrival of the long and dreary New England winter. Today I splurged on 100 bulbs of narcissus, crocus and muscarium. I know as I pine out my window at the snow and slush, knowing my bulbs are under there waiting to bloom will help me get through the winter hibernation.
